'Fishermen' caught with US $120,000 at sea
Four men were held by the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard in a pirogue out at sea on Friday.
The TTS Carli Bay CG 28, captained by Lt T Mohip with assistance from other Coast Guard officers, intercepted the boat, called Rebecca, south west of Erin Point.
Two of whom are from Erin, Trinidad, and the other two Venezuelan nationals.
Police say they had US $119,800 together with two grammes of marijuana.
Also found were six barrels of fuel.
The suspects were taken to Coast Guard Base, Cedros, and handed over to ASP Abbott of the Point Fortin Police Station.
