We have been working consistently with the Cargo Boats, the port, the Supermarkets and Grocery Stores to ensure that there is an adequate supply of food on the island. Consequently, on Monday 6th April, various cargo vessels departed Carriacou for the purpose of restocking supplies on Island and returned late Monday night. The discharge of the Cargo is due to take place today Tuesday 7th between the Hours of 8am -12noon on the Port. As a result, the grocery shops and supermarkets should be fully stocked by end of day today. In this regard, the Cabinet of Grenada at its sitting on Monday approved Wednesday 8th April, as a limited shopping day for Carriacou and Petite Martinique between the hours of 8a.m to 12 p.m so as to afford the people of Carriacou and Petite Martinique the access to fresh supply of goods. We thank you for your continued co-operation as we strive to keep our Islands safe and COVID-19 free.
